Nashville notes: Fresh tracks from Roan Ash, Jonathan Hutcherson + Kameron Marlowe

South African and Nashville-based singer/songwriter Roan Ash has joined Warner Music Nashville's artist roster. His debut release with the label, "Holy Ground," is out now on digital platforms.

Rising country artist Jonathan Hutcherson has released two new songs: "Bluegrass Green" and "Kentucky in Me." Of the latter, acoustic-leaning track, Jonathan shares, "Home ain’t just where you grew up, it’s who you are. I wrote a song about how much KY made me the man I am today."

Kameron Marlowe has dropped a reflective new track, "On My Way Out." "This song helps remind me to slow down and remember how much I have to be thankful for and all the things I still want to do before my time is up," says Kameron. "On My Way Out" will be on Kameron's second album, Keepin' The Lights On, arriving May 31.

Russell Dickerson thinks it's a "Good Day to Have a Great Day"

Russell Dickerson's celebrating life with a big ol' smile in "Good Day to Have a Great Day."

Russell penned the track with Jesse Frasure, Justin Tranter and Eren Cannata, and the jubilant number is packed with positivity and all the feel-good vibes to put you in a great mood.

"Blue birds on my shoulder, countin' four leaf clovers/ Sunshine serotonin, it's a good day to have a great day, baby/ Blue Jean silver lining, I'm out here cloud ninin'/ Ask me why I'm smilin'/ It's a good day to have a great day, baby," Russell sings in the bouncy chorus.

“I wrote 'Good Day To Have A Great Day' about my life motto. Is every single day of your life amazing? Maybe not. But 99 percent of the time, you can choose to make it the best day ever," shares Russell. "I hope this song lifts people up!"

Russell's latest studio album is his 2022 self-titled record, which received the deluxe treatment with live recordings and acoustic versions in 2023 as The Afterparty Deluxe.

Kane Brown + Marshmello reunite for collab #2

Kane Brown has reunited with hit DJ Marshmello for his new single, "Miles on It."

It's the follow-up collab to Kane and Marshmello's 2019 crossover hit "One Thing Right."

"Yeah, let's go, put some miles on it/ Back of the Chevy with the engine runnin'/ Just you and me in a truck bed wide like a California King/ We could break it in if you know what I mean/ Put some miles on it/ We could break it in if you know what I mean/ Put some miles on it/ We could break it in if you know what I mean," Kane sings in the song over an uptempo and summery production.

Kane's latest album is 2022's Different Man, which spawned the hit singles "Thank God," "One Mississippi" and "Like I Love Country Music." His recent releases include "Fiddle in the Band" and the #1 hit "I Can Feel It."

Keith + Lainey are ready to "GO HOME W U"

The highly anticipated Keith Urban and Lainey Wilson collaboration, "GO HOME W U," has arrived.

Of the track's songwriting genesis, Keith shares in a press release, "I wrote 'GO HOME W U' in 2020 with BRELAND, Sam (Sumser) and Sean (Small). We had a blast writing it. It started out as a late-night drum loop, I grabbed a bass guitar and started playing a simple recurring bass line."

"Before we knew it, we were writing a chorus that could be sung by any drunk person in any bar anywhere in the world," he recalls. "A friend of mine suggested the idea of making the song a duet and I immediately thought of Lainey. Besides the fact that I love her voice, she’s got the swagger and attitude that fit so well with the song."

Lainey adds, "Keith has been someone in the industry I’ve taken notes from for a while now. From watching him at CMA Fest every year growing up to hearing the way he treats people up and down music row, he has taught me a lot."

"He’s a genuine supporter of mine and I am honored I get to continue to learn from one of the best," says the "Heart Like a Truck" singer. "Getting to do a song with Keith is a notch on my belt I am very proud of."

"GO HOME W U" is the latest preview of Keith's upcoming new album, slated for the fall. His recent releases include "Straight Line" and "Messed Up as Me," which is now #28 and ascending the country charts.

Miranda Lambert says she's proud to sing "Wranglers"

Miranda Lambert is kicking off a new career chapter with "Wranglers."

Arriving as the first release via her joint recording contract with Republic Records and Big Loud Records, the female empowerment anthem showcases a side of Miranda fans have known her for: feisty, tough and strong.

"Wranglers' is a classic tale of a woman taking her power back. I think we can all identify with the character in this song, because we have all had a time in our life where we needed to find our strength, and also get a little revenge on someone who did us wrong or hurt us," Miranda shares.

"I am so proud to sing this song. It feels like it could have been on the same record as 'Gunpowder & Lead' in a lot of ways," she says. "'Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned' is a pretty powerful statement, and the way it’s written, you can tell, we’re not kidding."

"Wranglers" is the first preview of a new album Miranda's been working on.

"All I know is I’ve got a lot more to say, and a lot more music coming soon. So for anyone who’s ever seen themselves in one of my songs, especially the rowdy ones, get ready!" the Texas native teases.

Morgan Wallen + Post Malone share title + release date of collab

We knew Morgan Wallen and Post Malone recently collaborated on a song, but now, we officially have a title and release date.

The song's called "I Had Some Help," and it's dropping on Friday, May 10.

Posty shared the news via a joint Instagram post featuring a playful photo of Morgan and him making a heart with their hands.

Fans got a snippet of "I Had Some Help" in March via Posty's Instagram Reel, which showed him listening to the unreleased collab in the studio.

You can presave "I Had Some Help" now to hear it as soon as it arrives.

Brothers Osborne are ready to have their heart broken with "Break Mine"

As "Break Mine" descends upon country radio, Brothers Osborne are breaking down the meaning behind their half-romantic and half-aching new single.

"It's a song about relationships that are kind of on the rocks and you're telling someone, 'Look, if you just want to have [a] one-night stand and you want to break my heart, that's fine. Bring it,'" John explains. "That's the general crux of the song."

"Yeah, like I'm not afraid of this," TJ adds. "Whether this goes on forever, good. If it doesn't, then if you're looking for a heart to break, then break mine. Let's do this."

Jordan Davis is dropping a live acoustic recording of his song, "Church in a Chevy," on Friday. You can hear a preview of it now on X, formerly known as Twitter.

Mickey Guyton is "working on something really special" and has invited her fans in New York City to be part of it. If you'll be in the Big Apple on May 8, you can register for a chance to be a part of Mickey's surprise project at set.fan.

Scotty reflects on career milestones + Opry induction: "I'm extremely grateful"

Scotty McCreery's highs and lows take center stage in a new backstage video shared by the Grand Ole Opry.

Recorded at the historic venue, Scotty reflected on his career trajectory, post-Idol life, the career-changing "Five More Minutes" and being inducted into the Opry by his hero Josh Turner and country icon Randy Travis.

"To be able to come back [to the Grand Ole Opry] over and over and over over the years and play this stage, and it's always felt like home, they really are so welcoming and so warm here. Now, it's like, 'Oh, this actually is home,'" Scotty says in the interview.

Reflecting on life advice he'd give his son, the "Cab in a Solo" singer shares, "My biggest thing for Avery with all this going on is when he grows up, I'll tell him, 'This is daddy's dream and he accomplished his dream. So buddy, whatever your dream is, chase that, too, because it can come true.'"

"I'm extremely grateful to sing country music for a living, to have this stage to play at and to be welcomed into this family," Scotty adds.

Parker McCollum dedicates "Things I Never Told You" video to mom

Parker McCollum has rolled out a music video for his song "Things I Never Told You."

The video features Parker fully in his element onstage at a sold-out headlining show at Texas' Moody Center, but the focal person is not him — it's his mother.

Besides performance footage, the video interweaves heartfelt photos and clips of Parker and his mom from over the years, including them dancing together on Parker's wedding day.

Though Parker didn't write "Things I Never Told You," he says its storyline resonated with him.

"My buddy Taylor Phillips sent this song to me one day. He wrote it with Lynn Hutton and Monty Criswell and just one time through…I didn’t even listen to the whole song, but halfway through after the first chorus, I said, 'I’m in. I’m singing that song,'" Parker shares.

"It reminded me so much of my mom and I knew she would love to hear it," the Texas native recalls. "I didn’t tell her anything about it. I had her come to one of [our] tour rehearsals this year and played it for her there, full band with the whole production and everything and an empty amphitheater. It was kind of cool."

He adds, "I cut that just for her and thought it was such an amazing song."

Reba McEntire teases new album + duets "I'm a Survivor" with Jennifer Hudson

It's official: Reba McEntire's dropping a new album and single soon.

The country icon appeared on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Wednesday to tease her upcoming record and talk about the various projects she's working on, including hosting and performing at this year's ACM Awards and taping her new sitcom.

"[There's] going to be a new album coming out soon, but we've got a new single that we'll be performing at the ACMs," Reba told Jennifer Hudson as the cover art for her upcoming single, "I Can't," flashed on the screen.

Sharing details about the sitcom, Reba said, "It's called Happy's Place and we've shot the pilot on NBC, and we're just waiting patiently, sort of, on if they're going to take it to series or not. So fingers crossed."

Jennifer and Reba concluded their time together by offering viewers a duet of Reba's iconic hit "I'm a Survivor."

Megan Moroney has announced her second album, Am I Okay?

Arriving July 12, the Lucky follow-up will include the earlier released tracks "No Caller ID" and "28th of June," as well as "Indifferent," which drops Friday.

"wowowow i can’t believe it’s happening again already [blue heart emoji] my debut album came out 362 days ago & i’ve spent the past year doing nothing but touring, writing this record & basically living in the studio getting it ready for y’all," Megan shares on Instagram alongside the reveal of the Am I Okay? album cover.

If you thought you could nail "Fearless (The Echo)" at karaoke, think again, because Jackson Dean's niece might give you a run for your money.

Jackson recently shared a clip of his niece singing along to his top 10 hit with her dad and Jackson's brother Kyle, and they pretty much rocked it.

"'Fearless (The Echo)' is a Top 10! Thank you country radio and thank you to every single one of you reading this. Here’s my niece the star of the video celebrating," Jackson captioned the Instagram clip, which shows the young blonde girl and her father all smiles singing into makeshift microphones.

"That's mommy and daddy! That's Uncle Jack!" Kyle told his daughter excitedly as he pointed to the music video that features the family of three as actors.

Keith Urban is headed to Dallas, Texas, for a pop-up show to celebrate the release of "GO HOME W U."

The surprise concert will happen at Dallas' Club Dada on Friday, May 3. Tickets are available for purchase now while supplies last.

In a recent interview with ABC Audio, Ashley talked about the project and how its overarching theme mirrors her current stage of life.

"It's 24 songs, and it's really my heart and soul in a project. It's really special and it's a lot about love and breakups," says Ashley. "I'm 26, and [am] in this era of my life. So if you like those kinds of songs, you'd love the album."

On what she hopes fans take away from the record, Ashley shares, "I hope people can discover it and find a song that they feel heard by in my album."
